  • When are the City Council Meetings held?

    City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. and adjourned no later 10:00 p.m. as per Ordiance No. 2821 approved on July 16, 2013 in the Council Chambers, located at 11333 E. Valley Boulevard, City Hall East. 
     
  • When are the El Monte Planning Commission Meetings held?

    The Planning Commission meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. as per Ordinance No. 2821 approved on July 16, 2013 in the Council Chambers, located at 11333 Valley Boulevard, City Hall East.
     
  • Where can I register to vote?

    Voter registration cards are available in the City Clerk's Office. Application forms can be mailed upon request. 
     
  • Where can I file a claim against the City? 

    Claim forms can be obtained from the City Clerk's Office. Claim forms can be mailed upon request.
     
  • What are the names of the Mayor and Members of the City Council? 

    Mayor Andre Quintero, Mayor Pro Tem Norma Macias, Councilmembers Juventino "J" Gomez, Victoria "Vicky" Martinez and Bart Patel.

    Information concerning vital statistics, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates can be obtained from Los Angeles County's Registrar Recorders/County Clerk's Office, located at 12400 E. Imperial Highway, in the City of Norwalk. You can also reach them on the web at http://regrec.co.la.ca.us.
