For class fees and additional information, please contact the Facilities, Special Programs, and Events Division at (626) 258-8634 Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm To register online, please visit apm.activecommunities.com/elmonteparksandrec/Home. Limited sign-ups. Sorry, no refunds.

Transportation is available to residents of El Monte age 50 and older or disabled individuals. For reservations, please call the Transportation Division at (626) 580-2217.

Jeff Seymour Family Center Pump Track & Outdoor Recreation Area

                     For Health and Safety the following rules will be enforced 

  • Use and/or possession of alcohol, drugs, firearms or fireworks are prohibited 
  • No overnight parking
  • Use of any tobacco-related products is prohibited
  • Pump Track Rules must be adhered to; Ride at your own risk and within your abilities.
  • All dogs must be on a leash, owners must pick up pet waste
  • Portable BBQs and/or open fires are prohibited
  • Obscene Language, fighting, gambling, and loitering are prohibited
  • Camping, golfing, kite flying, skateboarding, or operation of bouncers, motorized vehicles or scooters are prohibited.

Become a green community Leader! Parks and water money could be coming to your neighborhood -- be part of the decision making process. Learn how to bring healthy urban greening to your community. Advocate for local parks, public lands, water resilience & access. Use your voice and learn about civic engagement, government, and who represents you.  Build community organizing & public speaking skills. We provide class meals, and certificate of graduation upon completing the course.
